Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, phone number, email address, native language(s), and the occupations and areas where you want to work. Businesses provide their company name, address, and hiring information.

How we use your information

We use your information to match job seekers with hiring businesses and to deliver the notifications you signed up for. Job seekers who opt in receive hiring-related text messages (SMS) when a matching business is hiring.

Text messaging (SMS)

Job seekers opt in to hiring-related SMS by checking a consent box when subscribing on 1job.ai. Message frequency varies based on hiring activity in your area. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using the service.

No sharing of mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as necessary to deliver the messages through our SMS service provider.

Sharing with hiring businesses

When a business sends you a job notification through our platform and you choose to respond, your reply (and, if you choose, your name and application details) is shared with that business only. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings, which removes your profile and subscriptions. You may also contact us to request deletion of your data.
